So much news to share at RtW...

Hello, Santa Cruz!

Phew! What an amazing few months it has been. Not even a few days after I posted a job opportunity at RtW, my former colleague Rachel Clements let me know she is back in town and happy to offer her highly skilled talents for an Intake & Office Coordinator role at RtW! What sweet relief this is and RtW clients and potential clients will only benefit from her skills and personable self.

We are now only days away from Ashleigh Kramer-Walthall getting started seeing individuals, couples, families, and groups at Ride The Wave! I'm so stoked, y'all. Ashleigh is also a former colleague and employee, and I'm so looking forward to having her work at RtW. I am excited for all the clients who will soon have the opportunity to work with her!

And Susan J. Gulbe Walsh is ALSO getting started in just a couple weeks! I've known Susan for a few years through our mutual work together in the UCSC Eating Disorder Consultation Group, and I'm thrilled to have her join the practice in a supervisor role.

What a ridiculously thrilling time it is over here at Ride The Wave. Speaking of which, I've definitely had to employ my Wave-Riding skills these last few months, as I've moved into my own suite of offices, increased the number of groups I run, and continue to see individuals and couples. The phrase "Ride The Wave" has really been at the forefront of my mind, as I navigate the ups, downs, last-minute needs and details of a bigger (small) business. AND, I'm in touch with a lot of gratitude for more people joining me on this adventure as staff and contractors, as I know that this whole RtW venture is possible, together. My gratitude for my clients is also always present with me, as it is truly an honor and a gift to serve them.

Never go it alone, y'all (insert image of a whole group of people surfing whilst holding hands - is this doable? I'd love to know!).

Warmly,

Katherine.
